Fee, one-time Olympian, came to College Park in 2016 as Assistant coach of the Terrapin field hockey program and will be the Director of Operations in 2017. She has been on the U.S. Senior National Team since 2012, earning 90 caps. 


We are thrilled to announce that Maryland Field Hockey Camp has added 2 Olympians and U.S. National Team members to the coaching staff: Stefanie Fee and Katie Bam.

Joppe de vries 

De Vries came to College Park in 2013 with over a decade of experience, including serving as goalkeeping coach for the South African national teams in preparation for the London Olympics.

Signing up with 20 players or more? We offer a team discount. When registering 20 players or more you will receive a $20/player cash rebate once all team members have checked-in on site (20 athletes must check-in to receive this rebate). Sign up before March 1st, 2017 to receive this discount!

We also offer a free coaches clinic on registering Sunday and a Day camp option. 12 and 13 year old players have the opportunity to participate camp as day campers. Enjoy the whole camp, and spend the night at home.

Since 1995, Maryland Field Hockey Camp is the perfect preparation for Fall season. It's a great opportunity to develop your game, meet the Maryland coaches, and work with / get to know the current TERP Maryland players. Bring your high school or club team!

Besides the University of Maryland Coaching staff and current University of Maryland players, our coaching staff includes current and former National & Olympic team members, and internationals from all over the world (The Netherlands, England, Australia, etc.).

Katie Bam

Bam, two-time Olympian and four-time NFHCA All-American, will return to UMD to serve as assistant coach. Bam played for the Terrapins from 2007 through 2010. She was the youngest player ever named to the U.S. Senior National Team at the age of 16 and earned over 200 caps in her career.


Camp director

At the helm of the Terrapin field hockey program since 1988, building a program rich with tradition. Meharg has led the Terrapins to eight NCAA titles and 20 conference titles.
